Google Drive Apps
Google Drive has many apps that you can add to make your work flow much easier. Here is how:
|1. Once logging into Google Drive, click the red "NEW/CREATE" button
2. Next click on add more apps
|3. Once you search & select an app that you desire, click the +CONNECT button/ +FREE button.|
Great! Now you have added it. You will find your apps right in Google Drive under that red create/new button.
Linda Henderson has been adding apps that are popular for our district in the Google Suite (such as Voice Thread). Go to the top right of your Google Drive, where you see your name and can sign in/out, to find the Google suite and click “more”/”even more” to find them.
Here is where you can add many helpful apps. As you can see above, I have added these favorites…
Coggle: Do you love mind maps? This app let’s you create, collaborate and save into your Google Drive
LucidPress: You may already be using Lucidcharts, but the new LucidPress allows you to collaborate on creating magazines, books, newsletters etc. and saves in Google Drive.
PDF Mergy: If you have multiple PDF’s that you would like to combine as one document, this app makes it one doc in 2 steps!
VideoNotes: An easy way to take notes that are synchronized with a video. It also saves directly into your Google Drive
Keep in mind when you are searching your apps you look at the reviews/view the stars to see if it works well. You can also preview the app by simply clicking on the window before you connect/add it.
