Chrome tabs have a lot of functionality if you right click the actual tab. You should see a menu that looks like this when you click it:
You can easily have new tabs and reload but here are some cool features:
Pinning a tab makes it small to the left of your browser, which is nice to have gmail and your tabs you use frequently open so you don’t accidentally close them.
Mute tab is a new feature so you can quickly mute the tab when, say, youtube is playing, music, or even an article with commercials. You will see a microphone icon on the tab for the on that is playing so you can easily select it.
Close tabs to the right is great if you are a super tab opener. If you tend to open tabs constantly especially when researching. You can click this function to easily close them all and leave the ones “to the right” open.
I also use bookmarking all tabs as a nice way to save all the research I have been doing in a folder or even for all those websites that my class goes to during a period. They can easily have a “Math” folder of all of my bookmarks for just my class.
